This construction waste recycling plant in Zhejiang is designed to process large volumes of mixed construction and demolition (C&D) waste and decoration waste. The system handles materials such as concrete blocks, wood, metals, plastics, and packaging waste.
The plant utilizes Zhongyi’s waste recycling solution, with a daily processing capacity of 1,000 cubic meters (approximately 300 tons per hour). Through a combination of automated crushing, screening, and sorting technologies, the project successfully converts mixed waste into high-purity recycled aggregates, metals, and combustible materials, with an overall recovery purity exceeding 95%.

Customer Requirements
During the early stage discussions, the customer raised several key concerns:
- Mixed waste composition was highly unstable
- High moisture content caused screening blockage
- Manual sorting efficiency was too low for large-scale operation
- Metal and aggregate recovery purity could not meet reuse standards

Pre-Treatment System
Vibrating Feeder: stable and uniform feeding control
Impact Crusher: reduces material size to ≤150 mm
This stage ensures the material is properly prepared for downstream screening and separation, improving overall system stability.

Anti-blocking design for wet and sticky materials
Improves screening efficiency by ~30%
It is mainly used for separating fine materials, plastic films, and soil from mixed C&D waste.

Separates light / heavy / 3D materials
Improves plastic purity to over 90%

Windshifter & Metal Recovery System
Airflow range: 8–12 m/s adjustable
Removes paper, film, wood chips, and light combustibles
Magnetic separator integrated for ferrous metal recovery
Overall sorting efficiency is significantly improved compared with manual separation, achieving a multi-stage automated sorting process.
