Working principle
The double shaft shredder working principle is based on two parallel shafts with interlocked blades driven by independent motors or hydraulic systems. As a typical twin shaft shredder machine, it uses counter-rotation to achieve automatic feeding, strong shearing, and controlled size reduction for complex solid waste materials.
The Double Shaft Shredder uses two counter-rotating cutter shafts to tear, shear, and crush materials through the combined action of high torque and low-speed rotation. Materials entering the shredding chamber are continuously grabbed, squeezed, and cut by the intermeshing blades until they are reduced to the required size.
The machine adopts a PLC intelligent control system with automatic start, stop, overload protection, and reverse rotation functions. When overloaded materials are detected, the shafts automatically reverse to prevent jamming and ensure stable continuous operation.
Featuring low-speed, high-torque operation, the shredder delivers strong shredding force while maintaining low noise, low dust generation, and reduced wear.
