With ongoing urban renewal in Jinzhong, Shanxi, construction and demolition waste containing concrete, bricks, mortar-rich soil, reinforcing steel, and lightweight debris is generated in large volumes. The customer planned to process this mixed waste in an enclosed workshop and recover reusable materials for road-base applications and eco-friendly brick production.
Based on the incoming waste characteristics and the required 150–200 TPH processing capacity, Xinzhongyi ECO supplied a complete construction waste recycling line. The system combines controlled feeding, primary crushing, secondary crushing, multi-stage screening, magnetic separation, and air separation. These stages separate mineral material, ferrous metal, and lightweight impurities for further processing, recycling, or disposal.

The customer needed an indoor processing line capable of handling mixed construction and demolition waste and producing graded recycled aggregate for downstream applications. The main requirements were to:
- Process mixed concrete, bricks, mortar-rich soil, reinforcing steel, wood, and plastic debris.
- Produce graded recycled aggregate for road-base construction and eco-friendly brick manufacturing.
- Recover ferrous metal and separate lightweight waste from the mineral material.
- Integrate dust collection and enclosed conveying into the indoor plant layout.
- Obtain equipment supply, installation supervision, commissioning, and operator training.
Projekt-Herausforderungen
- Mortar-rich and soil-containing feed: Adhesive soil and residual mortar can accumulate on screening surfaces and interfere with material separation, making screen selection and process arrangement important.
- Ferrous metal mixed with concrete and brick: Reinforcing bars, nails, and other iron-containing debris need to be removed from the material stream before the recovered aggregate is sent for further use.
- Heavy equipment installation: Large crushing and screening machines had to be positioned, lifted, aligned, and connected inside a steel-structure workshop.
- Dust control in an enclosed workshop: Crushing, screening, and material transfer generate dust, requiring appropriate extraction points and dust-collection equipment.
Xinzhongyi ECO Renovierungsabfall-Recyclinglösung
For the Jinzhong project, Xinzhongyi ECO configured a process combining vibrating feeding, apron pan feeding, jaw crushing, impact crushing, multi-deck screening, magnetic separation, and air separation. The equipment arrangement was developed for the incoming construction waste, the required throughput, and the available indoor space.
The vibrating feeder handles the incoming material and allows suitable fine fractions to pass through before primary crushing. The apron pan feeder provides a controlled feed of bulky, irregular waste to the jaw crusher, which reduces oversized concrete and brick pieces. The impact crusher then performs secondary size reduction and helps shape the crushed material before screening.
The multi-deck vibrating screen classifies the material into different size fractions. An over-band magnetic separator removes ferrous metal, while the comprehensive air separator separates residual low-density materials such as wood and plastic. Covered belt conveyors connect the processing stages, and a baghouse dust collector serves the main dust-generating points. Xinzhongyi ECO engineers also supervised equipment installation and alignment, assisted with commissioning, and provided practical training for the operating team.

- Baghouse Dust Collector: Collects dust from crushing, screening, and material transfer points within the workshop.
Bau- und Sanierungsabfall-Recyclingprozess
Mixed construction waste is fed into the line through the vibrating feeder and apron pan feeder, with suitable fine fractions separated before crushing. Oversized concrete and brick pieces pass through the jaw crusher and impact crusher before entering the multi-deck vibrating screen for size classification.
The screened material proceeds through magnetic and air separation to remove ferrous metal and residual lightweight debris, such as wood and plastic. The line discharges graded recycled aggregate, fine soil-rich material, scrap metal, and lightweight waste separately for downstream recycling or disposal.

Projektergebnisse
The Jinzhong construction waste recycling line completed installation and commissioning and reached the designed processing capacity of 150–200 TPH. The system processes mixed construction waste through crushing, screening, magnetic separation, and air separation, producing separate streams of mineral material, ferrous metal, and lightweight impurities.
The recovered aggregate is used for road-base applications and eco-friendly brick production, while ferrous metal is sent for recycling and lightweight waste is handled separately. The enclosed conveying and dust-collection arrangements form part of the plant’s approach to managing dust during indoor processing. On-site training also familiarized the operating team with daily operation, equipment inspection, and routine maintenance.
