Projektübersicht

The Changzhou project is a large urban decoration waste treatment center receiving mixed renovation waste from demolition, refurbishment, and building fit-out activities. The incoming material contains both heavy mineral fractions, such as concrete and brick, and lighter materials, including plastic, wood, and other contaminants. The customer needed to separate these fractions efficiently and recover materials with practical downstream value.

To meet this requirement, Xinzhongyi ECO supplied a sorting and screening system covering crushing, flip-flow screening, magnetic separation, and light-material sorting. Recovered concrete and brick are processed into recycled aggregate, while ferrous metal, plastic, and wood are separated for further recycling. Xinzhongyi ECO engineers also provided on-site installation and commissioning support during project implementation.

Kundenanforderungen & Projekt-Herausforderungen

Kundenanforderungen

The customer operates a high-volume urban decoration waste treatment center and needed a practical sorting system for mixed incoming waste. The main requirement was to separate concrete, brick, soil, ferrous metal, plastic, and wood while recovering a usable mineral fraction for recycled building materials. The project also required support covering process design, equipment selection, installation guidance, commissioning, and after-sales service.

Projekt-Herausforderungen

  • Mixed Material Composition: Concrete, brick, soil, metal, plastic, and wood arrive together, requiring several separation stages rather than a single screening step.
  • Continuous Processing Demand: The system needs to handle a steady volume of incoming renovation waste without frequent interruptions.
  • Site Installation Requirements: Equipment positioning, conveyor connections, and commissioning needed to be coordinated with the existing plant layout and on-site working conditions.

Zhongyi Bau- und Sanierungsabfall-Recyclinglösung

For the Changzhou project, Xinzhongyi ECO configured a 150–200 TPH recycling process for mixed decoration waste containing concrete, brick, soil, metal, plastic, and wood. The line combines feeding, crushing, flip-flow screening, magnetic separation, and light-material sorting to handle the different material fractions within the incoming waste.

Large concrete and brick pieces are first reduced in size before entering the flip-flow screening section. Fine soil and sand are separated during screening, while the remaining material moves through magnetic separation to remove ferrous metal such as steel pieces and reinforcing bars. The light-material sorting equipment then separates plastic, wood, and other lightweight fractions, with each material stream discharged separately for further handling.

During installation and commissioning, Xinzhongyi ECO engineers worked with the site team to check equipment positioning, conveyor connections, and interfaces between the processing units. Trial runs were carried out after installation, and operating conditions were adjusted according to the actual material flow before the line was put into regular operation.

Haupt-Gerätekonfiguration

  • Einschichtiges Flip-Flow-Sieb: Separates fine soil, sand, and undersize material from the mixed waste after crushing, with the flexible screen deck suited to moisture-containing and sticky feed.
  • Rod-Deck Flip-Flow Screen: Performs further size separation of the remaining material and provides a suitable particle-size range for downstream sorting.
  • Magnetscheider: Removes ferrous metals such as steel pieces, nails, and reinforcing bars from the material flow for separate recovery.
  • Belt Conveyor System: Transfers mixed waste and separated material between the processing units and delivers each fraction to the designated discharge or stockpile point.
  • Light Material Sorting Equipment: Separates lightweight fractions such as plastic and wood from the heavier mineral material for separate collection and further handling.

Bau- und Sanierungsabfall-Recyclingprozess

Mixed decoration waste is first fed into the line and conveyed to the crushing section. Large concrete and brick pieces are reduced to a suitable size before entering the flip-flow screening section, where fine soil, sand, and smaller particles are separated from the remaining material. The screened material then continues to the downstream sorting stages.

The material passes through the magnetic separator to remove ferrous metals such as steel and reinforcing bars. The light-material sorting stage then separates plastic, wood, and other lightweight fractions from the heavier mineral material. The separated aggregate, fine soil and sand, ferrous metal, and lightweight materials are discharged separately for further processing, recycling, or disposal.

Prozess- & Betriebsvorteile

The Changzhou line was configured for mixed renovation waste with significant differences in material size, weight, and composition. After crushing, the material passes through flip-flow screening to separate fine soil and sand, followed by magnetic and light-material separation for ferrous metal, plastic, wood, and other lightweight fractions. This process keeps the main material streams separated instead of relying on crushing alone.

The separated materials are discharged through their respective outlets for further recycling or handling. During installation and trial production, Xinzhongyi ECO engineers worked with the site team to check equipment positioning, conveyor connections, and material flow between process stages, making operating adjustments where required before the line entered regular service.

Projektergebnisse

The Changzhou decoration waste recycling line was commissioned and placed into regular operation with a processing capacity of 150–200 TPH under the project conditions. The system separates the incoming mixed waste into mineral material, fine soil and sand, ferrous metal, and lightweight fractions through the configured crushing, screening, and sorting stages.

Concrete and brick are processed into recycled aggregate for downstream building-material applications, while ferrous metals, plastics, and wood are discharged separately for further recycling or handling. The completed line provides the customer with a defined process for sorting and recovering materials from daily incoming renovation waste.
